is pleased to invite you to a private session
at the Department of Prints and Drawings
The Art Institute of Chicago
Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1:00pm
In a major coup for The Art Institute of Chicago's Department of Prints and Drawings, the acquisition of Dutch Mannerists prints from the Charles Hack and the Hearn Family Trust Collection (New York) brought more than 1400 examples from this important period to the museum. Jamie Gabbarelli, Prince Trust Associate Curator will lead an examination of a selection from this collection.
The visit has been arranged to coincide with the annual College Art Association conference and is open to members who are not registered for the conference itself. Registrants will receive further details of where and when to meet.
NB: Make sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, February 15 at 4:30pm (CT) for the Society's session (https://caa.confex.com/caa/2024/meetingapp.cgi/Session/12707)
Space is limited; priority will be given to Members of the Society
